Current opportunities:

Director, New Business Development (full-time):

    This Company is looking for an experienced New Business Development/Marketing/Sales professional. They are presenting exciting new value added applications (some under development). This Company has established profitable sales organizations addressing enterprise and small business market sectors and is now in the process of establishing a federal and local government sales team to market a range of IT Solutions. We are looking for a marketing and business development professional with experience selling Professional Services into the Federal Civilian Agencies, military and intelligence agencies and related bureaus. Successful candidates will be responsible for developing successful long-term relationships, identifying and developing sales opportunities, managing bid preparation and successfully generating revenues. This individual would be able to work through partnering and teaming relationships. They would have knowledge of the Small Business Administration's requirements and knowledge on how to do business with other entities such as 8-A, HUB zone, MBE, women owned, Veteran owned (VOSB), Service-disabled Veteran owned (VOSD) businesses, etc.

    Qualification/Skills Qualified candidates should have 10 - 15 years of experience in selling IT Solutions, and at least 3 - 5 years experience in selling to the government sector, preferably in a service or value added service environment. In-depth knowledge of federal government-structures, data communication needs, procurement mechanisms and a recent contact base. Demonstrable track record of success in winning major multi-million dollar contracts. A creative thinker with initiative and drive. A results oriented individual with ability to work in a dynamic, ever developing environment.

    Candidates with experience in military and intelligence sectors should have a current or recent security clearance.

    Travel Percentage: 25%

This Company is investing over $1.8 billion in the development of the satellite system - a powerful new satellite platform that has been optimized for broadband data communications. This satellite will uniquely be able to deliver high-speed, high quality data services between small dishes across the whole of the United States at extremely competitive prices. This satellite will support private data networking as well as a range of exciting new value added applications currently under development. This Company has established profitable sales organizations addressing enterprise and small business market sectors and is now in the process of establishing a federal and local government sales team to market a range of data-communication services based on the satellite platform. We are looking for a marketing and business development professional with experience of selling data communication services into the Federal Government, military and intelligence agencies and related bureaus. Successful candidates will be responsible for developing successful long term relationships, identifying and developing sales opportunities, managing bid preparation and successfully generating revenues.

Web Master: Customer web services including development, installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance.

Engineering: Project manage initial SS7 signaling services with signaling hub provider and ILECs. Coordinate testing and problem resolution for ISUP, TCAP and other SS7 related issues. Submit signaling requests and agreements to access providers. Manage new switch site projects while tracking and maintaining detailed information relating to 5ESS switch site deployment. Work with multiple vendors dealing with technical issues related to SS7, 911 and other telecommunication system deployments.

Network Engineering: Perform documented test procedures for pre cut-over testing of all facilities and services related to long distance implementation from the 5ESS switches. Will also include circuits and facilities, switch translations, CENTREX and CLASS features, voice mail system features, system integration parameters, alarm signaling, and NPA/NNX activations. Document pass/fail criteria and results.

Web Developer: To provide support for Access Networks customer web server by installing, configuring and maintaining the server, interfacing with content owners to ensure site is accurate and updated. Providing technical support to customer server issues. Developing and maintain web pages, tools and interfaces to the customer. Design web based application Access Network Web Development building interactive and dynamic web sites and applications for the conducting of electronic commerce between Access Networks of business and external customers.
